What is Swagbucks?

Swagbucks is an online platform where you can earn ‘Swagbucks’. Theses are the platforms very own currency. Once earned, Swagbucks can be redeemed online for vouchers, discounts and CASH!

Is Swagbucks legit? Well at the time of writing they have given away over $606 million. That is a lot of money.

You can earn Swagbucks by completing simple tasks. When I say simple, I really mean simple. Some of the most common ways to earn include answering surveys, playing iPhone games or browsing the web.

Yep it really is that easy.

100 Swagbucks = approximately $1.

Creating a Swagbucks account is free and easy – it takes only a couple of minutes.

Lets take a look at some of Swagbucks most notable features!

Swagbucks

Swagbucks Features

Answering Surveys

Swagbucks is the king of paid surveys. They have hundreds of surveys with varying durations. All you need to do is pick which survey you would like to complete and answer the questions honestly.

The surveys range from taking about 5 minutes to as long as 30 minutes. The amount of Swagbucks that you receive for answering each survey varies. They usually offer about 40-200 Swagbucks per survey.

Considering you can plug away at a few surveys and get paid to do so, this is a pretty neat feature!

Swagbucks Shop / Travel

Swagbucks have a feature that is essentially like a cash back system, however instead of getting cash back you get Swagbucks back (which you can just redeem for cash).

For those of you who don’t know how cash back work, basically if you make a purchase with one of Swagbucks partners, you will get a little bit of the money paid back.

Luckily for anyone with a Swagbucks account they have a ton of cool partners. Uber, Uber Eats, Catch of The Day, Microsoft, Nike and Bonds just to name a few!

Grocery Coupons

Swagbucks has a feature that gives you completely free grocery coupons. Yes you heard that correctly, free. You don’t have to do anything at all.

They offer coupons for a wide range of different items and give you the ability to save a few dollars on your purchases. The coupons are usually valued at about $1-$4 dollars. Not bad at all!

Games

Apart from offering surveys, Swagbucks are probably best known for paying people to play games. That’s right, they give you cash to play iPhone or Android phone games.

They give you a large list of iPhone games matched with a Swagbucks reward and a set of conditions.

For example, reach level 25 within 30 days of Mafia City and receive 7,000 Swagbucks. To give you an idea of how much 7,000 Swagbucks is worth, you can currently redeem this for USD $70 (Aus $95).

Considering many people out there play games for fun, the prospect of getting paid to do so is pretty appealing to many!

Sign Ups

Another way to earn Swagbucks is through their signups feature. They have a wide range of games, offers, subscriptions and online products where you can simply signup and rewarded with Swagbucks.

For example, a sign up offer they have at the moment is with Door Dash. Create an account and not only will you receive 500 Swagbucks, but you will also receive free delivery for the first month.

Not bad at all! And this is literally only one of hundreds of amazing sign up offers that they have to offer.

Swag Stakes

So as you know by now, Swagbucks are the platforms very own currency which can redeemed for vouchers, cash and more.

However, what you probably didn’t know is that Swagbucks have their very own casino for Swagbucks called the Swag Stakes.

With the Swagbucks that you have earned, you can enter draws to win even more Swagbucks. For example, pay 10 Swagbucks (roughly 10 cents) and enter the draw with 140 others to win $10.

Just the same as real life gambling, it mathematically probably isn’t the smartest thing to do, but it can be a little bit of fun here and there!

Donations

If you feel like giving back to the world, you can make donations with your Swagbucks via the donations section. This is a great way to do good and feel good about yourself by giving back.

There are a ton of good causes that you can give back to such as The Breast Cancer Foundation, UNICEF and Red Cross.

All donations are only 5 SB so you can still redeem the rest for cash!

Swag Button

The swag button can be added to your web browser and will alert you when a site that you are visiting offers cash back.

Simply install the button to your browser and never ever miss a cash back opportunity again.

Having the button installed is a bit of a no brainer, you don’t lose anything, yet you gain the ability to never miss out on cash back.

Rewards

Swagbucks rewards is the fun bit! It is the hub where you get to choose what you would like to redeem your Swagbucks for.

There are multiple different types of gift cards that you can redeem your points for. They include Amazon gift cards, Foot Locker gift cards, Cole gift cards and more.

My personal favourite is the Pay Pal gift card because it is essentially like redeeming your points for cash.

Redeeming points really couldn’t be easier, simply click on the voucher you want and Swagbucks will email you instructions on how to do the rest.

How Much Money Can I Make on Swagbucks?

This is probably the most important part of the whole blog post. How much money can you realistically make on Swagbucks?

Well it really depends on one main thing and that is how much time you are happy to invest.

From my personal experience using Swagbucks, I would say it is possible to make around $50 a week.

BUT, this is assuming you are putting in about an hour a day on the platform.

So, is Swagbucks worth it? Well it really depends on what you want out of it. If you are looking for a side hustle to help really boost your income, then it is probably not for you.

However, if you are saving up for something or just wanting to find a way to earn some extra cash easily, then it could be perfect for you.

If you do decide to create an account, which I highly recommend, at the very least so you can test the platform yourself, make sure to use our link to create a Swagbucks account.

If you do, you will receive a 300 Swagbuck bonus (about AUD $5) when you earn over 300 Swagbucks in the first 30 days (very easy).
